Going outside to stare at sun, way too dangerous...

Use 4k TV and stream live from YouTube, very safe! :)

LOL, but there isn't anything special about you watching it because everyone else will be burning their eyes at the same time..

There is no wow factor there...YouTube and Google Images FTW.

I'm looking at this cereal box thing..

But the Projection screen they're using,  That is not the way to do it..

Subsurface scattering would screw with the projected image..

It really should have a uniform subsurface for projection integrity..

I guess i could make the paper foil backed..

And they don't specify the size of the hole..   :<

I am watching it near Atlanta and it is very cool. We are about halfway there.

Great clear blue sky, forecast showed 15% rain, we are happy.

Just hit peak here (93%) and through the eclipse glasses, it's a little uninspiring.  Like looking at a dim light bulb. oh well, carry on.

Nice pic from your fancy, high-tech setup :p

I used part of a welding mask, until someone leaving handed me their paper glasses.

Really happy to get to see and experience it person, even though we only hit around 90% here. I'll be more prepared next time :D

Didn't have any other options atm.. hahaha..

it looks really weird through the welding mask, not white at all.

The pictures online of the pinhole cereal boxes that little kids made,  those wouldn't work at all..

They made the holes way too big..
