Title: Are WOW Pens Crap?

Can someone clarify if these various WOW pens are crap:

They look nice in the pictures but the reviews seem to say they're cheap. And small. :(

Please convince me not to buy one if they're crap.

PS: This is cute http://www.orbitamouse.com/ but doesn't look actually functional.

The Wowpen Joy looks pretty good to me. Not only should the positioning be comfortable, but it will train you to give dominant handshakes, thus ensuring career success. *

A shame if they made it too small, that rules it out for me too.

The Eco on the other hand makes no sense to me. They made it less comfortable so you can write with it like a pen? Uh, no thanks.

At least it isn't the other WoW mouse (http://www.kombo.com/article.php?artid=12195).

I have WOW, the wireless version and sometimes use it with laptop when I'm on the road. It packs well and has a laser pointer for presentations. Would not say it's crap, though I prefer to use other stuff in the office.

I have a WOW-PEN JOY mouse.  I bought it because of RSI issues.  I have small hands and found the evolute too large.  I like the size but the click force is way too high for me.

Thanks. I have BIG hands and I ordered a MS Natural 6000 b/c I could find that locally. I will order a Evoluent when I can find a courier to bring it to where I live. :)

All of my MS IntelliMouse Explorer mice are broken so I have to use my HP garbage mouse that came with the PC. I tell you, after just a few hours my hand hurts--seems it's too thin for me and I have to cramp my thumb to grip it. I went back to a broken IntelliMouse for now (even if every other click fails) until my new Natural 6000 comes in the mail.

I now see what this RSI stuff is about--I have never before suffered pain from using my PC...

I have this as well and recommend it. Despite the MS logo, it's very nice. I can't use it on my current desktop though because it doesn't work on a shiny wood surface.

Yep, my Rocketfish laser bluetooth mouse loves the faux-wood's shininess.

I'm a bareback man myself. Mousepads break my concentration, and they don't make a model that's thin enough for my tastes :)
