He sent me one from 1997 and one from 2003.  The 97 board has a color decal logo and its clear tops are kind of loose.  The 03 board has the lasered logo and its clear tops fit a bit better.  I wonder what kind of glue etc. might help.  Would have to be tacky but removable later.  Both of them have all keycaps & clear tops.

Had to clean them... on a scale from Public Washroom to Techa River, I have to say the older one was Dahmer Fridge.  The newer one is not so bad, more like Tijuana Bathhouse.  Both of them cleaned up really nicely.

The white cherries feel like browns but are a little heavier.  I was surprised to find whites, I was expecting black.  They are not as heavy as my black board and the tactile bump is more pronounced than in my brown board.

Both of them had to take a firmware upgrade before Designer would set them up.  The MSR are 2 track.

I have some like this but mine are black with brown switches, interesting.  I've wanted to try clears (white) for quite a while.

Do you mind sharing the full article number on them?

If this board has clears, then it's mislabeled. P stands for blacks, clears would be Q. Doesn't mean you can't get another mislabeled one, but don't rely on it.

No one really knows what's going on with those codes. As someone found out a few months ago, not even Cherry understands what they mean... Maybe Chloe did, but she was driven insane by it.

I agree, the model codes seem to be nonsense for the POS boards.

I got 2 with the same label and they are white.

I looked at didjamatic's ebay auction - brown 8200 - his have the P too.
