Hi, I'm not sure if its been shared before, but I saw this video on youtube which caught my interest.
It describes an upcoming keyboard that is ortholinear and slightly ergonomically arranged but still on a single board. Its mechanical, and there's also a bluetooth verison which is nice. Its also backlit.
Looking at the site, I don't think there a blank version, which is a bummer for a lot of people. I don't know the price yet.
Here's the site:

Personally, I'm not buying it, I still like my keyboard more.

Yes, there are a few older threads about it.
Most noteworthy might be the one where the designer himself (herself?) describes it and asks for comments: 4th generation ergonomic layout (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=86736).
There are also a few videos on Youtube where people test an earlier prototype.

Oh, crap. I did search the forums but couldn't find it. Please delete this thread if you can.

Hi Guys,
I am working with X-Bows in advance of their Kickstarter campaign so I will try not to be too intrusive in this thread. Just thought I'd give some info.
The site linked in the Unbox Therapy video is pretty outdated, info.x-bows.com/x-bows/ is the domain that is maintained. It should have more up-to-date information.
The price will be $119 on Kickstarter and our campaign will be running from September 12- November 8.
Hope this helps,
Chris

I used the term X-Bows, didn't get anything. I'm not paid at all!

It describes an upcoming keyboard that is ortholinear ...
I wouldn't call it "ortholinear". It is "columnar" for sure but an ortholinear keyboard would have the main keys in rows and columns with 90° angles (i.e. orthogonal) between them.

So, its more like non-staggered as the term?
Looking at the layout, I actually quite like it the more I planned my own layout on the keyboard. You have a normal arrow key orientation which is very handy for a lot of people, and enough keys to not be restrictive or forceful. There are F keys as well, very handy. I'm pleasantly surprised by the price. Very big deal. It will reach quite a lot of newcomers.
Speaking of blank version, I think its a good idea, considering some keys are not normally shaped.
I'll be taking a close look on kickstarter. Good luck.

the most appropriate description is "radial".
