Hey all,
This keyset design was inspired by the history of Egypt (such as: Pharaoh, Anubis, Pyramids), the gold color is to depict Egyptian sand and pyramids. The plan is to go with GMK including all the good stuffs (such as: novelites, dvorak & colemak, ergodox and norde).
Would appreciate your feedbacks on the keyset design.

I like the color combination.
I would like to suggest the following:
-yellow: Use a mustard yellow. This yellow is way to bright compared to the muted colors of red/brown
-brown: a few notches darker BR1 from GMK color palate might be nice. Maybe to dark.

I really really love the way the burgundy meshes with the light brown. The gold does seem a little bit offensively bright in the KLE render, but I wouldn't be able to really judge it from any non-3D render. Overall I really like it.

While reading the title I said oh my god out loud, as I've been waiting for someone to do an Egypt-themed key set for a while.
Thanks for taking the initiative!
It would be an instant-buy for me if it had sand colored alphas, bright turquoise accent keys and some nice hieroglyph / ancient Egypt style novelties.
I'm keeping my eye on this one!

I like this idea. I agree with avid to go with a mustard yellow
