There's nothing like a big old Wang, especially a nice clean one like this. Why, it may never have been used, and you could be the first one to get your hands on it. Even if you don't get it working with your PC, it'd be a great thing to take out and stroke every now and then.
As I post, it's at $42 + $16 U.S. shipping with 5 days to go.

Ah, so THAT'S what those little round things are for!
-
Chitty Chitty Wang Wang. The keyboard that flew.
-
Back when keyboards were massive and screens were tiny :)
-
That is one seriously clean Wang.

So if one were to actually buy this, what kind of switches could one reasonably expect to find? Wasn't everything back then either awful (e.g. foam 'n' foil) or incredible (e.g. Hall Effect)? Or do I have a romantically polarized vision of the very early keeb age?
BTW, "Wang workstation" sounds like a euphemism for "glory hole". Okay, that should meet my tackiness quota for today.

Dude, I agree, but isn't that really a sig kind of thing? Besides, the first step on the path to recovery is admitting you have a problem—so if you keep typing something like that each time you post, you'll never stop buying keebs. I know this is true because I never stopped buying them and now I live in a refrigerator box, but with some seriously great keebs, so who cares.

Oh screw it, signatures don't work properly on Tapatalk. I'm sick of people thinking I'm typing that.

But you did type that, didn't you? Again, just now? Sigs are something you set in your GH forum profile, so it'd have nothing to do with the browser you were using or whatever, would it? Although frankly, it baffles me why anyone would want to wade through message forums on a phone, with that tiny display and (non-mechanical of course) keeb. I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here anyway, though.

And again, anyone have a clue what kind of switches this big ol' Wang would have? I'm quite interested.

No, Tapatalk has a signature option. Apparently, it just types it at the end of your comment. I do have a signature set on GeekHack, but it doesn't show on Tapatalk. I use it, because I really dislike the interface for forums, I find them difficult to look at. I don't spend nearly enough time on these sites to warrant typing it all out on my computer.

Ah. Well, good luck w/that, dude... Although it does seem somewhat strange that anyone who'd frequent GH would prefer tapping stuff out on a phone.
How about possibilities for the kind of switches in this board then? Anyone?
-
I'm pretty sure they're foam & foil
-
Thanks... Fun-looking, board, though, and it's unusual to see them in such good shape. Oh well.
