Title: Strange old switches?
Post by: ander on Wed, 06 September 2017, 01:43:27
Here's an old Telex terminal monitor and keeb (http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-Compatible-Terminal-with-Keyboard-Model-2-Large-Telex-277D/152687233501) for sale.

I'm not suggesting anyone buy it, but as the seller's been good enough to include a close-up of one of the switches, I'm curious what they are.

Any ideas? I can't find anything resembling it anywhere. Enhanced version:

Mmm those THICC doubleshot caps!

They look pretty dusty, though. Which Honeywell Hall Effect don't like too much.

Honeywell Hall effect!

Cool! I was familiar with HE switches of course, but didn't recognize these for some reason.
