Interesting to see something like that in TV :D
Is this a real board? The side of the left part looks unusual^^

Seems like a ultimate hacking keyboard. Way better than the usual roll-able rubber keyboard.

Interesting idea with the modular concept. Trackball module could be useful.
It was nice seeing a tv hacker use a adequate keyboard for a change, i once saw a "hacker" using one of these glass keyboard things you can't really type good on. Ha but at least it looks cool and futuristic which suits the "I hacked the NSA in a couple of seconds" mentality that seems present in tv.

Surprised they used blanks. A mech keyboard enthusiast on the staff, maybe?

Like all show-biz professionals, set decorators are intensely competitive. The more novel, colorful set pieces they can provide for productions, the better names they make for themselves.
In this case, rather than just grabbing the first modern-looking keeb they saw at Best Buy, the set dec spent some time online looking at cutting-edge keebs. That's great, because most of the people who see this show will have never seen a split keeb, much less an unlegended one. Presenting something that's usually so familiar in such an un-familiar way has a fun sinister effect. Buh-ha-ha!!

It is indeed the UHK, they even wrote about it on their blog (https://www.crowdsupply.com/ugl/ultimate-hacking-keyboard/updates/emc-pre-compliance-testing-successful#one-of-our-prototypes-has-became-a-movie-star) a while ago. Interesting tidbit is that the assistant propmaster got in touch with the UHK folk.
