Fans? Really Thermaltake? Wow. What next, a subwoofer foot massager?
...
Actually, that has potential. Imma go to the patent office.
Actually, the fans are there so that when a Thermaltake representative is taking a piss at you, he/she can direct the stream of urine at your face in a nice, refreshing aerosol spray.
This was almost as retarded as Kip Kay's illuminated keyboard "hack":
The whole concept of a backlit keyboard is stupid to begin with. IMHO, doubleshots = as good as any backlite on a silly deck keyboard :P I do like the size of the deck 87 ice though.
This is, from my experience, especially true in a city like Liverpool, where good taste and reserve are hard to come by.
Isn't that a golf-ball print-head? The blue light and cable is new to me...
The guys at deaf gamers already do that:
"Here at Deaf Gamers we have, for over a year ignored audible content within a game and rightly so too but Eponine's review of Morrowind and her use of a subwoofer to give tactile feedback has opened our eyes. Thanks to our good friends at Videologic we now have the superb Videologic ZXR-500 5.1 speaker system (a review on the quality of the subwoofer to follow shortly). The beauty of the ZXR-500 set is that you can turn off the satellite speakers and just leave the bass on. With the subwoofer placed under the desk and with your foot or feet place on it (personally I find placing a foot either side of gives the best effect), it provides incredible tactile feedback if the game uses bass to good effect. AoW 2 uses bass to incredible effect. The soundtrack of the game feels absolutely superb through the subwoofer. The battles again feel incredible with the explosions shaking you out of your seat." although for "tactile feedback", not necessarily massages. They should get a clicky keyboard then.
I'm kinda into glowing gimmicks right now. That spartan look gets kinda boring after a while.Show Image(http://geekhack.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=8493&stc=1&d=1268937731)
