So I just got this keyboard in today and was pretty happy to try a 75% keyboard, I then realized upon taking the keycaps off I noticed something..
Are these drevo switches inferior to cherry mx versions of this board? I didn't even notice when I bought it

Think of them as a generic version.

I didn't know Drevo manufactured their own MX clone, but they are far from the first. MX clones are made by Gateron, Kailh/Kailua, Outemu, Greetech, Razer, probably companies no one has heard of because there are unmarked switches out there too. Clones are not known to be any worse, and in some cases they are better, such as Gaterons often observed as being less scratchy. Don't fret it.

Upon looking at reselers and amazon I've found out that only the black version comes with actual legitimate cherry MX switches, real bugger.
Probably just surprised from using browns for the first time I guess.

My Gramr has Outemu switches.

This just my 2 cents but my Gateron's are far superior to cherry as far as switch smoothness and feel. Its to soon to say how they will hold up in the long run since cherry's have been around for so long and most still function fine.
