Nice find! I hope people pay attention, too, and notice that you've asked them NOT to contact you about these (which I failed to do, and sorry again about that).
Ok, I managed to steal enough free time to test about 25 boards today. One of the AT boards was non-responsive and the other worked fine so I think my adapters are working but I am going from AT to PS2 to USB to USB-C because I'm on a macbook pro.
As for the SSK, all of them tested worked but one has a stuck spacebar. I've not tried to fix it yet as I'll do all that after they have all been tested.
Oh please let there be an Unsaver in there... ;)

Not yet, but we'll see what happens tomorrow.

I think you're right that people are okay with doing the deep-clean themselves. Scrubbing the caps is nice. If you want to just take a moist rag to the cases (avoiding getting any paper labels wet) it'll probably be good enough to get them sold, the buyer can finish the detail work. Kudos for going through so many boards, you've got your work cut out.
Ok, so to give you guys an idea what I've been going through. Somewhere in this pile or one of three others like it is a box of these blasted SDL cables.Show Image(https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/24dHZaCTkvbY9PwPSQW1EIWkfZHeRN-SvkQEYvomSmeoS3uyegVB3WbsM9A1RKMQOjE7AZaE_gfxR5VhdPPXWn2yt5u7KqPN5Usp05hR3IS08EDhxbN-JyMiJ7TqIz1s__A4z_SRzAUvjiXmZZUN0rGsqmeA2pnJgVp1RFQ3DsVojn8vwEhESy87506B3b9aeqnLqLz5jiIAEJnq05xsHiLDj3eVMUk_Sye1M1wocLhbCk4EJXz-kqTp-WrLy6v3U-F-2TOT0daJLIfDAsdfMby-mVEJnP-XQA8CAckLmSSNeQ6ntAydc8JiPV-84vdlHkQPgDzdAL97xPpq-vFZ_dnqyiGDNPtXAj1FK3HeL5CUcmv3YlGCwGv61cgPFu3ZcZCUgAS0nb67Kpqpbmkoimcok3dmjO8M4HEDJVMyLxlkvilMUvXhrl1SmGTxtga6ukyjJna9MeTsbVktGwRMwM95HGToIIY7rIF0Xekv8OiTkvPb6V-SXlDKDnTI6OZL5BT_svnVEkIdzdo08Zunw0ZHknQrD98LXkB_ceS1Y9jPTUC8fyMiJRiZ4E-IjXoT0YfDAMnpcJPOJMerEaU0erVUnWDScOGl5d9QTiFWtw=w1584-h1188-no)
I think I have 10 cables so far I'm going to test those and once I know they work I'll let the first 10 units go.
As far as the AT Model F go I have three I need to test and if those work I will list those as well.
There are some white labels with attached non-removable cables and one piece key caps that I have to sort out also. The units that are sold will have a basic water only wipe down and the keycap covers cleaned. None of them will be opened by me and will only have a light dusting out so they will still need some cleanup and probably some internal dusting. If things go better with my oral surgery tomorrow and I'm feeling up to it I will open them and at least inspect the boards which was my original intent but many of you want your hands on these ASAP and I can understand that.
If you have any more questions hit me with them and I'll get back to you ASAP.
My guess is that this lode might prove at least as interesting as that $100K "warehouse" sale.

What about selling the AT for parts?
So are these going to be first come first serve? I mean, I would love to have an SSK!
Where's the classified? I've been waiting all day for it to show up. <__<
Thanks for the update!
Are all of the SSKs blue labels, or just the first 9 that you have ready?
Does anyone know how long it usually takes for a mod to approve classified ?

usually just a day
I have no idea why it's still awaiting approval.

Did you report the thread and/or PM a moderator? And did you make sure everything was following the rules? Sometimes they'll leave a note you need to update/change something to get it approved.
Omfg that's amazing, you're going to singlehandedly cause the ssk market to collapse.
There is a **** ton of Apple ii stuff. Some IIc with alps. Tons more and it’s going to take time. Probably take some apple stuff to next years midwest vintage computer festival. There are actual ps2 to go with the ssk but we haven’t touched those yet.

Update on my board! I ordered a dozen custom-print caps from Unicomp...Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/CZ6gsHV.jpg)
and for about $20, I now have a Inverse Industrial! Or maybe it's more like SP's idea of Industrial (https://pimpmykeyboard.com/sa-industrial-keyset/). In any case, I love the look of it. I'm still madly in love with the spring-buckle of the buckling spring. :p

Can you update this thread when you fine any working Alps?
Thank you.

It sounds like I'm going to have to look into going to this Vintage Computer Faire (regardless if you'll be there or not, that just sounds like a fascinating event by the name of it).Me too. Depending on where it is, sounds like a fun time to meet other enthusiasts.

So here is the low-down on the situation with a bit more details.
This collection belongs to a good friend and ex-boss. He's been involved in the computer business since at least the very early 80's. He's been a huge Apple fanatic. We recently closed the last business and he knows he needs to start getting rid of things but as you can imagine it's hard on him. This is going to be a slow process especially when it comes to the Apple stuff. Unfortunately there is a lot of damage to do to moisture and mice.
All the ALPS are in the form of Apple IIc machines so far. If I get permission to sell apple stuff it will likely be taken to the Mid-West Vintage Computer Faire 2018. Another friend from St Louis will also have a lot of old C64 stuff there as well.
That said I will let everyone know what is available Apple wise.
I did come across more full size model M and 3 more cables. The weather here today is bad (tornado warnings and watches), so I'm not out in the facility testing today. I've only been at the mechanical hobby about a year now so I'm still not super familiar with what has what in it so I'm constantly having to look up pieces on Deskthority and Wikipedia.
If anyone has a list of things you want me to be on the lookout for I'm happy to accommodate you. So far the only things thrown out have been paper goods (manuals etc) that were ruined beyond hope or repair.

We should have some sort of gh getogether there. It would be a nice place to put some faces to the names and talk about our favorite subject in person. :)
Can someone id the switches on this? I figure you guys will know quicker than I can google plus I’m cleaning keyboards.

I think I'm keeping this one for myself but wanted to share with you all.Nice! Is it rubber dome or actual buckling spring?
What is the meaning/pun/slang/euphemism of "SSKanoly"?
Here is another I need help identifying.

Olivetti dome with slider

It's an AT&T Model M from my understanding, all the parts are interchangable with Model M at least except for the case and cable as the AT&T uses a RJ11 style 6 pin to PS2.

I seem to remember the space bar being different, too.
