My Mechanical keyboard journey started when I first saw the HHKB. As soon as I saw it I had to have it, I didn't know anything about switches, PBT, or dye sublimation. I just knew I had to have that keyboard. So I got one
It was ****ing awesome
Then I discovered all the custom keycaps sets and all of the sudden I felt left out because you can't exactly get a wide range of cool sets on the HHKB
Sold the HHKB and ended up going through well over a thousand bucks chasing the enjoyment I got with the HHKB. I went through 4 Vortex Pok3rs of various swicthes, a couple Varmilo boards, two Plancks, Vortex Core, Filco, a DAS, 2 different realforce boards and an unhealthy addiction to ordering pretty much every set from pimpmykeyboard.
I discovered I really love the Cherry MX Clears, HATE linear switches, and the planck is a real Piece of **** quality wise, and that the combo of the Topre switch and the HHKB layout is my happy place,
I said **** it and ordered another HHKB last night. It gets here tomorrow. Even though I used to own 3 I haven't been this excited for a keyboard to get here in a long time

Welcome home.
As it is probably several months since this transpired, I assume that you have been happily reunited with oneness with cup rubber in HHKB layout.
How are you going?
