Title: Versysss 71072/C1612 help
Post by: bmmcwhirt on Fri, 06 October 2017, 06:06:02
In my ventures I came across 2 Versyss keyboards and from what I can tell the model is 71072 or C1612.

These are Revision A units dated 8-8-78

They have an RJ4 connector and Cherry MX Black switches.

Does anyone know anything about these? I am hoping they are WYSE 4P4C compatible as I already have a Teensy to convert to USB. I just want to try to get a bit of information before I go randomly hooking it up.

It only has one electrolytic cap and on visual inspection that cap looks ok the chip is a TI CF60137N(couldn't find a real datasheet) and 16 MM74HC163N(Binary Counter).

It's still dark out so I haven't taken any photos yet. It's pretty yellow so needs some retrobrite and the keycaps may or may not be able to be cleaned, but they are doubleshots.
