Title: Is there an "official"/"standard" drawing for keycap profiles?
Post by: jayeye on Fri, 13 October 2017, 23:40:51
I'm looking for a good specification (dimensions, tolerances, etc.) of sculptured keycaps? Something with the level of detail of https://deskthority.net/w/images/c/c8/Cherry_MX_1%C3%971_keycap_specification_%281983%29.pdf

The goal is to design them in OpenSCAD. Yes, I've found a couple of "things" on Thingiverse, but the authors cite no sources, so I assume they took someone's keycap and a pair of calipers and derived the dimensions that way. Ditto for any diagram I've been able to find by googling.

Where else should I be looking?
