There were times when I had to work outside when it was below zero, wind chill of like -20 and snow, I had on a couple pairs of wool socks (gotta be careful here you don't want your feet to sweat), heavy insulated boots, underwear, long johns, insulated pants, t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, sweat shirt, carhart jacket, ear muffs, sock cap, gloves (thin pair and thick pair) and sun glasses and sometimes I'd wear insulated bibs with all that but it was hard to even move, and of course had a big full beard to help protect my face. I remember this one time we worked a few minutes then got in the truck with the heater for a few minutes all day like that...

It was a ****ty 7 days in -35C to -40C (around -35F), driving a tank with no internal heating systems (apart from battery heating). Luckily the driver's seat was next to an engine compartment hatch which could be opened and the tank's engine was 30cm from you.
Taking a piss was real fun. Taking a dump was an epic quest.
But the nature was really beautiful, everything sparkled and the sky was really clear.
Ever since after that week, I have not really felt any need to complain about cold weather.

I knew this had to be military related, no one else is stupid enough... Hooray for insufficient cold weather gear! :thumb:
Had to do the same thing quite a few times while working on aircraft.
We were exposed to the elements so what we would end up doing was work until you couldn't feel your face and hands, then jump in one of the support vehicles for a few minutes to get feeling back, and do it again.
