Assuming,  Xbox optimized software-games get 15-20% Ontop of direct hardware comparison

An RX580 Benches 8245,  + 20% = 9894,

In comparison, a gtx 1070 only benches 10970 (stock, unoptimized)

This will be something like a fully Overclocked 1060 6GB. or the 1070 (stock)

I'm completely underwhelmed by the new video game consoles; and I can't afford any of the retro stuff that I want.

I think I will take up bowling.

I think the thin pin bowling is fun..

regular bowling is just too heavy,   I can't understand why it needs to be like that..

tp4's anus is dry and wide from too much fiber.  Not a pleasant place to be. :(

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAaaa

Actually,  Meat-consumption and high protein diet is the leading cause of Hardened Blockage and Severe Colonic conditions such as Diverticulosis..

Fiber is what keeps st00lz soft and rapid-fire passable.

Specs are irrelevant if there aren't any good titles..

idk, why microsoft is still pushing xbox and windows store separately..

Allow mouse and keyboard,  and they INSTA-Kill steam..

Anyone who has upgraded their PC long enough understands,  it's stupid and futile.

Don't think meat-eaters quite understand..

Eating 100% veggie takes p00p-output to Super-Human Lvls..

To get the most out of it you'd want a TV with support for 4K + HDR10.
And perhaps Dolby ATMOS support for your reciever/soundbar if that matters to you.

Ok, so it seeeems.. we're looking at Either 290x performance lvl,  OR  580x performance lvl..

It remains to be seen which is true..  But if it's on the 290x lvl,  then that's really only slighly faster than an overclocked 1050Ti..

That's not what I meant, I used "passable" in a much more literal sense :p .

What's the desktop equivanent for the PS4 Pro?
The X1X is a fair bit faster and runs a lot quieter.

Ps4 Pro is around a 1050  (Non-Ti)

So, if the 290x prediction is true,  then the X1X will be ~25-30% faster than ps4 pro

if the 580x prediction is true, then the X1X will be ~ 125% faster.

My gut feeling it's the 290x prediction that's closer.. but they've been working on it for so long.. i don't see why it couldn't be the 580x arch.
