Seems like a nice deal, if you've wanted to try the clicky, heavier Cherry MX Greens (https://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX_Green):
Ducky Shine 3 Mechanical Keyboard / White Backlit LED Clicky green switch (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ducky-Shine-3-Mechanical-Keyboard-White-Backlit-LED-Clicky-green-switch/152787734600)

I've rotated the photos, which the seller was apparently too busy to do. :?)
Description: "Great condition m, barley used gaming keyboard. Works perfectly!"
$60.00 + 20 shipping. (They're $129 and up, new.)

That's the "buy it now" price too!
Why hasn't this sold yet?
Not enough love for green switches.

Ander my man, helping separate me from my wallet. :D
So the question is would I like the green switches? I've recently found that I do like blue, but only when the housing is nice and tight and there's not much wobble. Otherwise, I'm unimpressed because of being spoiled by typing on Ms for so many years. Thoughts?

barley used
So ... the owner spilt their beer on it?

Where did you find that info?

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I like MX Greens. They're a heavier Blue, basically. If you're used to buckling springs, I think you'd enjoy them as a change of pace, and they wouldn't feel too light to you, as most MXs would.

LOL. Don't worry, Samir, he was just making a "barley" joke... And don't tell your wife where I live, OK?

Sold! I'll be trying some greens soon since I just parted with some green. :thumb:
I've 'barley' been awake since I 'barley' got that one, but I finally did. :-[

LOL. Be sure to let us know what you think. And as always, when I pass along these things, I hope the board's as nice as it was described.

Okay, that does it: All subsequent posts to this thread will have to contain at least one lame "beer" joke.
Samir, when you get the board, be sure to check it for spyware—it may contain a key lager.

Most definitely! I didn't seriously think about trying the greens until this thread. :thumb: And it seem like a good enough price that I should be able to get my money back out of it if need be.
I will check for the key lager, although I might be too hoppy to think about it. :D

Thank you my friend!
Knowing both you know the M and spoke highly of the switches and the board definitely had an influence on my decision to get off the fence. :thumb:

For what it's worth, here's my fuller take on Greens.
Most people who type on standard-weight switches (MX Red/Brown/Blue, Alps, Topre, etc.) would find Greens too heavy. After all, Cherry originally made them for spacebars in their regular boards (to compensate for the spacebar's extra weight).
But I know you prefer buckling springs, Samir, as I do. And I'm guessing that while you enjoy changing things up now and then with regular-weight switches, it probably doesn't take long for you to want to return to "real" switches. (Non-BS users, please pardon the snobbery, LOL).
I don't think that'll happen when you get your Greens. If anything, you may find them a bit too heavy after a while, as they take about 10% more pressure to actuate than BSs, and have a different kind of pressure pattern. But they won't bore you, or make you feel like you're typing on cotton candy.
And of course, nothing takes the place of a BS. So although you won't want to type on your Greens all the time, I think you'll be glad you have some.
And it seem like a good enough price that I should be able to get my money back out of it if need be.
And I guess you'll be a Bud who's a bit weiser.
I will check for the key lager, although I might be too hoppy to think about it. :D
You'll be too busy enjoying all the comforts of foam.

With your description, I think greens may end up being my cat's meow in terms of cherry switches because you described that 'itch' to get back to BS almost to a T. Last night, I was trying out my Das with blues for a while on some typing tests (I always seem to type much slower on these than in real life--probably because I'm copying something versus writing my original thoughs), and I ran into exactly this feeling that you described. The blues, while nice, felt a bit 'soft' after a while and the actuation point is a bit fuzzier than bs, so I switched back to an M. I really, really look forward to the greens now. :thumb:
I just hope the board is weighted enough like the Earth has high gravity. (I know, I know this one's a stretch, but I couldn't think of anything else.) ;D
-
So I'm bummed out. :(
Apparently, before I hit the buy it now, someone else also did two days earlier. It was only today when I inquired with the seller that they told me what happened. So no greens for Christmas. :'( :'( :'(
-
That does suck. I love my shine 3 with greens, I think it is a great typing feel and I never understood how people could type with blues or any of the lighter switches as they feel weird to me.

CORRECT.
Once you go hard for the heavy switches, there's no going back to the limp-wristed rubbish sold everywhere for namby-pamby's ;D .

So now I'm on the lookout for another green board. I thought this one was like destiny...until destiny went home with someone else...then she really was like Destiny...hahaha...

Just buy a brand new (barebones) WASD keyboard with MX Greens and you've got a decent keyboard for LIFE :thumb: .

$100 for a board without keycaps that I don't know if I'll like is a bit steep for me, but just looking around it seems like greens seem to currently be steep. :(
Oh well, for some reason this was meant to be.

Aw, man, sorry to hear that. What happened though? How could you think you'd bought it when you really hadn't? Even if you left the page open, it'd update itself dynamically, right? And even if it didn't, the BIN button wouldn't work once the board was sold... Color me confused.

And thus cued, it seems appropriate—or perhaps inappropriate, but in an appropriate way—to insert a photo of plus-size porn star Destiny Dane:

...who apparently, for the right price, will come over and clean your house without the distracting sound of rustling garments.

But getting back to MX Greens (er, guys? hello?)... Yes, it is hard finding them for the same kinds of prices as the more common MXs. The least expensive I see anywhere right now is this non-backlit TKL:
Ducky One TKL Mechanical Keyboard (Green Cherry MX) (https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2749)
$89.00 + free U.S. shipping
Everything else is, like, $120 and up. I'll keep my eyes open for you, though.

It was strange. I even had a normal receipt and everything for the payment. The seller showed me the glitch on his end showing that two people had chosen 'buy it now' two days apart from each other. Seems like for some reason, ebay didn't register the item as sold and allowed it to stay open. :-\
Hahahaha, I must do some reading, er, research on this Destiny as it seems my knowledge of 'actors' is incomplete. ;D

Yeah, the original one in this thread was a 'great find' for sure. And thank you for watching out for another green for me! I think it will be my end game switch on Cherry as blues have always lacked something for me.
