Hi All,
I'm trying to reverse engineer my G80-9009 Cherry (Reuters AK124) keyboard and could really use
access to the Reuters model AK124 or AK125 breakout box.
Here's a photo: http://i.imgur.com/rLsNk1D.jpg
Happy to buy one outright, rent it, or borrow it.
Will pay shipping both ways for rental or borrow.
I'm in California.
Thanks much!

It's a cool board, good luck, hopefully you can find a box.
There is a converter for these boards on taobao, maybe that can help you but you probably already knew that one

Thanks for the encouraging words...
Yes, I have one of those converter boards (hmm, maybe time for a review...) they connect
directly between the keyboard matrixes to USB, which is pretty good. Programable.
The downside is that I loose the on-board display, calculator, and on-the-fly macro capability.
I'm typing on my G80-9009 now, without the converter, but only have about 102 keys of the
149 working.
(I want it all! ;-)

any update? thanks

Hi,
No change, sorry to say.
I've built (but not yet tested) a Sun keyboard to USB adapter. I'm hoping that more keys will make it out the
Sun serial port so I can use those too,. We'll see.
