Title: Are there switches that will fit
Post by: Harmvdw on Fri, 22 December 2017, 04:34:06
Hi,

I found a old "keyboard" of a fanuc milling machine. It has omron B2R switches.
I want to use the keycaps to make a numpad. I have searched but can not find a fitting switch.
The stem is 5mm square.
The omron switches are to high.
Does anyone know a fitting switch? Or should i make adapters?
Here are the photo's

Thanks for looking

Those are Omron magnetic reed switches.

I think they are still in circulation.

Yes i know, i have the switches, only they are very high, en i would like some "normal"switches witch would fit the keycaps.

No, the mount appears to be unique.
