One of the Model M's Lexmark made for someone other than IBM. Rather odd when you think about it, isn't it, considering it was entirely IBM's invention and design? That's KB history for you, though. A nice clean example of a lesser-seen p/n at a good price.

Oh, the price is in the topic title.

I'll just say, in my defense, I've spent the day engaged in extraforaneous activities close to the sea/land interface.  Although not hot (a mere 26 degrees, compared to the 41 forecast for this coming Saturday), I shall still claim that the heat has addled my brain.

LOL. You are on the upside-down part of the planet, too, so I imagine a good deal of your attention is consumed with always having to hang on to something.

The seller must've lowered their price, because it went for just $31 + $20 shipping... Quite a nice deal for a lesser-seen M variant.

That was a steal!  Was there a make offer button too?
