Title: What kind of Gateron Browns used in Ergodox EZ?
Post by: DuckNorris on Wed, 03 January 2018, 11:21:51
Hello,

Does anyone happen to know what kind of Gateron Browns (3 pin , 5 pin etc) were used in the Gateron EZ and also how to tell of PCB mounter or Plate mounted? I am trying to take off the darn thing apart but it is not as easy as a Ergodox kit.

Thank you!

The first search result is this (https://boesebeck.name/v/2016/2/22/the_ergodox_ez_reinforcement_kit_) and there's also this review (https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ErgoDox_EZ/Shine/4.html). Based on the pictures, plate-mounted 3-pin switches.

Thank you so much! That second review was EXACTLY what I needed to begin my project with this keyboard!  :)
