Title: Clicky Keyboards in Australia - Model ID problem

Howdy,

This is my first time posting at Geekhack and I have a question that requires your vast store of HID knowledge.

I'm visiting the store referenced in this thread (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?t=8447&page=2) soon, and wanted to about some of their keyboards.

Some of the keyboards are obvious clicky keyboards, such as the IBM 1391401, but they are listed as sold out.

My question is this: Are any of their keyboards listed as in stock buckling spring or mechanical switch keyboards?

I'm trying to find one with a PS/2 connection so the mainframe keyboards are probably out of the picture. I'm having trouble finding info about the specific keyboard models so any help you guys can give me would be very appreciated!

The one listed as 64F1367 (IBM) appears to be a Model M from picture.  That would be a good bet.  Best thing for you to do would be to get hands o some of them when you are there.  Also, I'm sure they can help identify the buckling spring keyboards they have available.

Thanks, but I'm not at all sure they understand their own keyboards. This is Australia, after all.

I will go visit the store and try to test a few but I haven't held a clicky keyboard since my childhood.

i called and spoke to Mark at a1usedcomputers - no Ms or Fs left im afriad.

best bet is ebay, there is a M on there with 3 missing caps ATM (in Vic)
if you get this one i can hook you up with the spares :)
