Are you sure they didn't get bought out by Apple? I hear they're looking to own the distribution channel for switches to meet the demand for the iPad.

Unsurprising, they all want Cherry's unique trade secret: How to produce Chinese quality at European manufacturing costs.

An interesting thought though, if Logitech decided to try making a mechanical board to cater to the niche market (and the larger Asian market) while aggressively trying to expand it. They may cater to the LCD, but really their stuff is not terrible. Seems like with their resources they could produce a moderately priced mechanical reasonably on par with the premiums, which in all honesty have never quite reached perfection themselves. Can't imagine they would do worse than the Scorpius M10, which itself was basically a good soldering job away from making spending $120 questionably justifiable for non-collectors.

I don't think it would be a promising one. I just refused to pay a woman from Craigslist $50 for her digital camera because it was worth way more. I still don't have a digital camera.

I make really good popcorn and have a near encyclopedic knowledge of sub-$20 rubber dome keyboards. That + a masters in cultural theory get you a state job making less than a school teacher. Maybe I should get on that balloon thing.

This guy seems happy with it.

You refused to buy this camera from the woman because she was cheating herself at that price?? (If I understood your post correctly...)

Good thing for her you aren't a politician.....and if you were, your career in that endeavor will be even shorter than in sales...

So now we've seen:

1) Frugal and willing to take advantage of opportunities
2) Financially totally wasteful and illogical
3) Financially totally wasteful and illogical, while attacking the frugal
4) ...whatever Oqsy is.
