I can help adding some confusion. I still have an old Atari ST keyboard (and the computer it belongs to). It's a very heavy board and it has black Cherry switches. Oh, and it's made in Taiwan. ;P
Are they really Black Cherry switches?
They have the Cherry logo and the perfectly smooth Cherry black feel. That keyboard came with a Mega ST, Atari's high end machines in the late 80s. ;) My very first computer was a 1040STFM in 1987, but I don't remember what switches it had.
That's good to know. I'll just buy that keyboard and see what happens :)
Reminds me of playing on my 2600 with a black and white TV. Y'all youngin's don't know nuthin' 'bout that.*
* Unless you live in MW's and Comp. Lab in Basement's home town of BF, CT where it's still considered "next gen."
What? It's Harwinton, CT. (http://geekhack.org/showpost.php?p=168143&postcount=21) Burlington Road, not BF.
iMav really needs to fix the firewalls at Geekhack.org. It's leakier than a sieve.
Oh yeah. Egypt.
So is it BFA, with A being America, if you live in Egypt?

Here's a pic. It should go well with your mom's console TV:Show Image(http://www.jeremyhildreth.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/Atari2600a.jpg)
That walnut veneer is classy.
Oh God I don't want Ripster showing up at my door...
It matches the TV in our garage, the fake-wood style.
That looks like a keyboard from the ATW800
Only 350 stations were ever made

I don't think so. If you look closely at those ATW800 pictures, you should notice tilted function keys. The same as Atari ST, for example. The Atari PC keyboard doesn't have those. It looks pretty much like a certain Cherry keyboard we know.

It just so turns out that my television's black-and-white.
