Title: Anyone knows the size and/or spec of the black screws in the Realforce?
Post by: nguyenhimself on Fri, 26 January 2018, 19:52:08
I disassembled my Realforce 87U to switch in the BKE Redux domes. But then I had to leave in  a hurry, so I packed up all the screws inside a small packet... only to lose that packet the next day.

And so, can anyone tell me the name/spec/size of these black screws so that I can maybe go buy some replacements? Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately I can't find a ruler at home so I will have to resort to a very geekhacker solution, using your keycap legends to measure!

Black screw is starting from t all the way to edge of arrow stem.

Width is same as arrow stem.

White screw is from t to middle of s.

Now you just have to measure your Realforce shift key LOL.

Get a ruler app for your phone and measure it on the screen.

I've tried this,  they're usually off by 0.2mm-0.5mm depending on resolution
