Title: Left this money pit Forum. Coming by to say Hi

Hiya folks.

I left this money pit in 2015 after I got my Type-S
Stopping by since I have some old customs to clear out.

Anyone wanna give me a TL;DR from 2015 till now?  :p

EDIT: I see customs going for $400-$600 now?
I sold my CHEAT In 2014 for...$350 FWIW. What happened to those clacks, are people still flipping them for $.
What about the Cherry Red Esc. I bet nobody cares about that anymore?

Yup. A lot more artisans now.

Original molds were put back into use by GMK and more were made. Nobody cares anymore.

Lots of new influx into the hobby has driven aftermarket prices on just about everything through the roof.  Big money comes in and drives artisan/keyboard/keyset prices up and eventually gets offloaded for someone else to drive prices up further.  Clack isnt around as much lately and his caps still drive a hefty pricetag, but his caps are slowly becoming the more affordable ones.  Yeah, nobody cares about the red esc.  Idk if I have seen one even posted in the past 2-3 years.

Cheats are still somewhat affordable in the grand scheme.  Most other OTD's are pretty pricey though, $1500+.  A lot of people join custom GB's just for the post gb flip and run prices up a few hundred off the bat.

Pretty much, the only thing i do is tell people not to buy mechanical keyboards in the keyboard section.

So, if you wanna call that seal-clubbing.. it's indeed similar..


Although.. It's more like population control, because I am allowing only the Best seals, the Ergodox Seals to prevail.. I am only clubbing the flat keyboard seals,  they're worthless.
