Preferably cherry blue. All the ones I've seen are $100+, I just want to use one on a 486 that doesn't have pci slots for a usb card.

Why not just get a cheap usb to ps2 adapter?

Wrong direction.

Get an old Model M or something. They're not exactly rare.

There is a bunch of NMB keyboards that popup on ebay sometimes that have a better sound IMO but depending on how dirty they are they can be very scratchy.

Really? Op is looking to connect a cherry blue keyboard to a ps2 port... I know they're out there.

I have lots of them, the device must be designed to work with them (most aren't), it's just a passive adapter that doesn't "do" anything.

My Rosewill RK-9000I with MX Blues came with both a USB cable and a PS/2 cable. I got it for $65 a few years ago.
Newegg has the V2 model for $70 right now (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823201082&cm_re=rk-9000-_-23-201-082-_-Product).

The green ones are for mice and don't have enough connections inside.
There is a comparable purple one for keyboards that has a much better chance of success.

Purple has no better chance of green if the USB keyboard isn’t designed for PS/2.
Like most Keyboards.
