Keep in mind that this is not buckling spring, but still an interesting variant of the XT keyboard.
-
What kind of switches does it have if not BS?
-
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall they are Futaba of some sort.
Edit: The wiki says oak full travel membrane
-
That's a hell of a space bar. Looks to be 9.5-10u
-
This uses Oak switches which are apparently extremely awful. The case is also not compatible with a standard XT.
-
The keys are differently shaped than a standard Model F's, much more angular... That seems like a good clue.
-
Considering what it's at at the moment I think people aren't aware that this is an Oak board xD .
-
Yep, neat variation with Oak FTM switches.

Yeah, I sent the seller a message yesterday about that, and she wont change the listing, so I feel bad for the bidders....

So sad...
Oh well, caveat emptor!

Yes, so true. It's like people WANT to pay more. Do you even snipe, bro? :P

You shouldn't. The photo clearly shows a switch that is not a buckling spring.
They may want it for the case, however, and not realize how different it is.
-
It is an interesting board despite the switches - but 'm sure not going to pay $100+ for one.

Well have to give seller a little credit for making some effort:
"On Feb-16-18 at 13:38:33 PST, seller added the following information:
Important update: I've been kindly informed that this is not a buckling spring, but a Model F variant of the XT keyboard.
As stated above, I'm not a collector or user of this kind of item so my knowledge is limited.
Please ask questions, I will do my best to answer them."
-
Yeah, I sent her a few lengthy replies, and half through the day she said eBay won't let her change the title since someone's bid on it.
