I don't think Ben was fat in the movie, I think the suit was poorly fitted. Afleck is like 6 and a half feet tall at like 230lbs muscle, I think they made the suit before they saw how bulked up he got.

Definitely this, because Hollywood is definitely NOT obsessed with body image or anything. Much more likely that he was pregnant.

Are you guys sure.. batman looked so... tubby.. like under his face/chin was all this jowl-ness.. hahaha...
Maybe this is a new direction for holywood to look more authentic..
but then superman and aquaman in the same movie certainly looked fit.. lean chin n waist
