Hi everyone, I’m Simen. This is my first time to post an IC thread on GH forum and I would like to have more communications with you guys here.
I am here to introduce the first work from INETT Lab -- TRIANGLE and TRIANGLE’sv (special version) .
And yet we can find same precedents in the history of keyboards from Apple and some other famous brands.

The following are the renders for TRIANGLE.
The design of the bottom case is very similar to the vintage Cherry keyboard, but without three slopes for overall simplicity.

These following renders below are for TRIANGLE’sv (special version)
The design of this version will be even more simple than the TRIANGLE design.
The idea for the design of the indicator LED’s comes from the Sony’s PS controller buttons, and yes, our later keyboards will be named after these buttons’ icons.

Specification:
①6063 Anodized Aluminum
②Anodized aluminum or polished brass weights
③PCB supports Bootmapper Client
④there will be Aluminum or Brass plates supporting different layouts
⑤Yarbo Connector pre-soldered onto PCB. Will provide a separate Yarbo cable for USB connection
Available colors: Silver, Navy, Pink, Grey ..(May be changed and finalized before GB starts)
Price will be determined soon.
The samples will be uploaded and updated in these two days.
GB may only run with one of TRIANGLE and TRIANGLE’sv based on community feedback, so please share your valuable ideas with us!!!
GB starting date: Approximately sometime in April.
We started R&D from July last year. Finally today, we are proud to present our work in GH. We really hope u guys can contribute your advice and ask us questions without any hesitation. We are willing to accept all constructive suggestions. We will most likely run our first Group buy in April this year. And my friend Tehao will replace me to run the Group buy in a later time, after all the modifications are finalized.
Manufacturer: FOX LAB 【Representative products: orange and Time】
Finally, thanks a lot for the support from my friends!
UPDATE 2018/03/20
These following photos are the samples of TRIANGLE and TRIANGLE'SV. For now, many friends are expressing their concerns on the nameplate of the SV version. Thus, we then decided to cancel the GB for the SV version and we will just run the GB for TRIANGLE, because surprisingly, many friends are saying that the design of TRIANGLE is more solid and more lasting than the SV one. It will be a loss for those who prefer TRIANGLE'SV, but we may run GB for it in the future if many people want it after some modifications.
Let's come back to the topic. So the sample of the black TRIANGLE seems to have a large gap between the top and bottom parts. This is because the processor of the sample intentionally made the corners filleted to prevent the sample parts from cutting his hand. The actual products will not have the top and bottom parts with filleted corners, so the gap between top and bottom parts will be eliminated/minimized. Colors are accurate in comparison to my rendering pictures. The white color you see on the SV sample is done by oxidizing treatment with matte finishes, not micro-arc nor electrophoresis processing; and it is really well done to me. The color options are finalized now: Navy, Matte white, Grey.

That light blue on on the grey looks amazing. Color me interested.

Also prefer to the light blue one.

I like it :thumb:

Nice color options :thumb:

This is fantastic and the colours are incredible, if you price this competitively (or even if you don't, to be honest, probably) I'm sure you will be VERY successful. Great job.
-
I'm in! Would love to get a full size in my collection!
-
Sigh, I'm in.

Very interested!
Can't wait to see the samples!

Very basic and minimal design - which is good, but would be even better if you skip the rapidly-becoming-a-painful-cliche vanity plate on the bottom to help keep the cost down.

Thank you :D :D

thank you all for supporting and I’m very glad that many of you like our design. :D :D

The design of weight on the bottom will not be eliminated . I appreciate your thought and we are trying best to set the price as low as possible. :D :D

Thank you.All the colors we'll do better :)) :))

Very interested in the
white silver and teal one but I don't like the quote thing between the numbers and the F-row. I would love a teal strip without any words to occupy that space.
-
Interesting. Glad to see more full size customs!

:thumb: nice!!

Thank you for your questions. We will make a corresponding adjustment. :D :D

Awesome! I didn't think I could fall in love with full size again but this project looks really nice, excited to see where it goes! ;)

What layouts are supported? What's the angle of inclination?
-
supported layout: 103(WKL) & 105(WK). pcb supports bootmapper。 7°

We need PCBs that have hot-swap for the alphas or areas that aren't impacted by various layout compatibility needs.
Has anyone done that yet?
It'd have to be a hybrid to allow for folks who want stepped capslock, or other layout changes, as the sockets won't allow for these situations, but especially for a 103/105 board a *lot* of keys won't be moving and could probably work just fine with hot-swap sockets.
One would still have to solder in the switches that can change depending on the layout you prefer (mostly bottom row, ISO enter, etc).. but for the static keys.. hotswap.
*encourages everyone to suggest this brilliant idea in every possible future IC*

I see the appeal, but I personally prefer pcbs that do not use hot swap sockets. :-[

These look fantastic! Will the TRIANGLE support 105 layout since the TRIANGLE'sv isn't going to be made? Also, what do you mean by Yarbo connector? 5-pin DIN?

Any updates?

Interested in this board for my brother. Are there any updates?

Looking for a 105/106 Keyboard with 18 keys on the Numeric keypad .. Even if it is just the Al/Steel Plate (Frame) as I can always hardwire switches if I have to but would probably use PCB with a hack (+saw) :)) on the double size '+' Key to make it a normal '+' and '?' key.
-
Interested still. I would love an update :)

lOVE IT, I WANT ONE :thumb:
