Title: HHKB 2 + iPad possible?

Supposedly the HHKB 2 won't work with an iPad because the power draw is too high. But might it work with the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, seen here:

This adapter allows a USB device to be plugged in to the iPad while simultaneously having the iPad plugged into a charger. Would this solve the problem?
Can anyone verify whether they've gotten their HHKB 2 to work with an iPad, and if so, how?

I have that cable and no, it doesn't work with HHKB2.
It does work with my other 60% MX keyboard though. And it worked with the Code Keyboard as well.

Thanks. I wonder if it might work with Hasu's controller installed since that has a lower power draw.
