Hey everyone just domineering a few questions,
1. What material is the HHKB pro 2 made of? I am wondering if you can dye it
2. How easy it to give it a custom spray paint job and has anyone done it before
3. Any ideas on how to color the case
4. Topre switches - are they worth it,
5. Which are the best sliders which have MX mounts that are still in production and should I get silencing rings
6. Are they worth it?
Thanks guys :)

Ow also what mods should I put on an HHKB pro 2

The general advice on Topre is to Make sure you TRY one before you buy it.
The Hype is sky-high, so in order to be realistic about expectations.. that's the most practical approach.

Thanks

1. ABS.
4. That all depends on you.
6. I personally don't think so, they are notorious for being wobbly, scratchy and not fitting some caps properly.

HHKB is the best keyboard there is. The feeling is one of a kind.

Thanks guys what about the realforce 87u
I also own a Realforce 87UB, 55g weighted Topre switches. It's nice.. but I still like the feel and mystic thock sound of the HHKB.

Yeah I did sell the 55g Realforce from Massdrop after comparing it with the HHKB for a couple of months. That HHKB sound is addictive.

Cool Thanks

Painting is not that hard but time consuming. You have to use fine sand paper clean and then clean it from any skin oil or other substances. And then multiple layers of primer and then the paint to your liking.

ABS, it can not be dyed very easily, get it painted
2. How easy it to give it a custom spray paint job and has anyone done it before
I'd get someone else to do it, painting all of it is tricky as the HHKB is case mounted so you'd have to fully disassemble it and make sure the paint doesn't interfere with sliders
3. Any ideas on how to color the case
Vinyl wrap it if you can be bothered
4. Topre switches - are they worth it,
Yes, but I prefer BKE redux
5. Which are the best sliders which have MX mounts that are still in production and should I get silencing rings
Novatouch sliders or KBD Fans adapt x, I never use topre without silencing rings
6. Are they worth it?
Buy one and you'll see for yourself
