Title: [IC] CHEAP 3D printed Dactyl bases.
Post by: AShifter on Sat, 24 March 2018, 19:01:41
Just looking to see if there is any interest in cheap Dactyl frames. I'll make dactyl-keyboard and dactyl-manuform bases for somewhere around $49.99 to $69.99 - just depends on the results I get. Hopefully I'll be able to make some more interesting things in the future, but for now, just reply to this form: https://goo.gl/forms/RQGeCIWErfZrORAu1

Thanks!

What kind of printer are you using?

I'll be using my Anet A8 as I don't have access to anything else at the moment. Also, let me know what layer height I should print at - I'm considering 0.3mm and some light sanding followed by baking to get the part stronger.

Yea, I'm interested. Depending on how they come out.

I'll be sure to post pictures of the final result once my filament comes in - want to make sure I have some fresh plastic for this. Thanks for your interest!

I'd be interested in how the base is constructed. Only having a few thin feet will make it unstable. It would be nice for the bases to be angled slightly to make it more ergonomic as well.
