Title: DIY case corners
Post by: DonnyD on Tue, 27 March 2018, 03:48:10
Is 1mm radius corners fillet wont be too sharp ? What is corner radius on the keycaps for reference ? Or on other aluminum cases ?

I dont think so? i used 2mm on my lasercut topplate and it seemed pretty round to me, so 1 mm should probably be enough. pics for reference.

I am trying to make as minimal as possible, so 2mm can be too much. Boxy design apeals to me, it looks more modern to me :D Also i am trying to keep case not wider than keycaps, in other word, then viewed from top, case wont be bigger. So 1mm radius should mimic keycap corner radiu better than 2mm.
Much apreciate your help !!
