So since i like linear, a rattly stabilizer just annoys me a lot. I really want a board with really good stabs. I would prefer a costar because i heard that costar stabilizers are superior than cherry mx stabs in terms of feel and can easily be mod/lube. Can anyone suggest a good TKL Board with a stabs with no rattle.

I dont personally like clicky switch btw. :p

I have very cheap china stabs in my kbd75 with silent blacks and put some good industrial grease onto them. The stabs aren't really louder than the switches now, no rattle at all!
IMHO you don't necessarily need high quality stabs but rather the right grease to get a really silent board.

legitimate Cherry stabs. They don't rattle and are buttery smooth. Costar can rattle more unless you use them.

Costar technically rattles more than Cherry style stabilizers.
However, Costar stabs are SIGNIFICANTLY smoother in operation..
Generally , if you get the proper grease for the stabilizers, the rattle is minimal even on Costar.
You want a HIGH-viscosity SILICONE grease.. like the Honda Grease.

I feel you. This use to drive me crazy. Best decision I ever made was to get a custom board made by someone. Stabs are buttery smooth and sound amazing. Good luck!

High quality stabs can not be overstated. They make a world of difference, especially when it comes to rattle. The first time I built a board with zeal gold plated stabs I was in awe

Cherry Style*-No mushiness-no rattle. You can tell they took a lot of care to make the stabilized keys feel like all the others.
(*I'm not sure how they modified them or from where they sourced the parts)
By far the best feeling MX Brown board I have. It even sounds better without the scratchiness that is common in the switch(that is also due to the thick pbt caps though)
Also, who knows what differences there are depending on the batch. Newer ones might suck or have gone back to costar. I have no idea. Mine is 2 years old

I’ve yet to see a person that invested in Zeal stabs say they weren’t worth it.

You don't really need anything more fancy than clipped+lubed genuine cherry stabs. I've built several boards with them and they don't rattle and I've seen many people use them even in super high-end customs.

Leopold have lubed stabs they are really good my dad has one with silent reds

In case I had the money I'd give them a try. And I'm pretty sure they won't be better than the stabs I'm currently using :)

What does the gold plating do?
-
^ makes them expensive.
The reason they're superior is design. They still need a grease though. Honestly the screw in GMK are just as quiet when installed correctly. However, it all comes down to what style stabs your board accepts... PCB mount, Plate Mount, or Costar.
