Hello peeps, been a while. I was like the happiest kid on the planet when I got my hands on the latest prototype. Its finishing is what I've been working hard to achieve in the last two years. Nine prototypes of Alice were made since September, just to get the right typing feel and surface finishing. Worth it?
About TGR-Alice
The layout of Alice is based on the EM7. I was lucky to own the very first few EM7s. It has a layout that requires almost no effort to adapt, yet so comfortable to type on. Switching between the EM7 and other conventional keyboard was never an issue to me.
Design
Alice adopts the classy design concept is continued from the older Kustom. In fact, I am obsessed with the complicated machining and finishing processes to create a seamless gap between the top and bottom half.

PCB
Alice's PCB will be powered Winkeyless ps2avrGB. Alice PCB was the first PCB that I made. Would like to thank Leeku. I wouldn't be able to draw my own PCB without his help.
Color, Delivery, Switch Plate, Price, Quantity
It has been my goal to finish the GB within 8-10 weeks. Choices of color might be limited to expedite the manufacturing process.
To keep things simple, brass might be the only switch plate option. I am hoping to get at least 40-50 boards from the group buy. Price should be around 400-500$.

The stagger on the left side looks good to me. I'm constantly on the lookout for a mechanical Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000, i.e the most comfortable thing I've ever typed on (switch aside).
In fact I've been thinking about getting a Katana60 for my Alps build. Similar idea.
