Any idea if these caps will fit on topre or MX? Before I go jump on it. Can seem to find anything on the net.

kinda hard to see from that pic, could you post a picture of the underside of the caps next to a ruler?

Your guess is as good as mine. I'd say based on my experience with Japanese keyboards that this is either:

I highly doubt this to be MX compatible as Cherry was not at all common on vintage Japanese computers.

  • Alps
  • NEC

Cant take a pic since i havent bought it yet. Just wanna make sure if itll fit anything before buying it hehe

Totally get it, though it's going to be really hard to say. Based on the LED placement, it doesn't look like Alps or Cherry, NEC seems unlikely since it's a Canon product, and that leaves very few other switch types that could have been used. I'm heavily leaning towards rubber dome though I'm not positive either way. The LED placement is actually more reminiscent of a foam and foil board but foam and foil is also pretty uncommon on Japanese boards.

So theres no chance that this will be like the ones on a brothwr keyboard that fits a topre?
