Found this on an Olympus board at work. It's attached to a piece of medical equipment, and I don't know if it's USB / PS/2, or some proprietary or older style connection, but my money is on USB given the newish appearance of the board. I've never seen this switch before so I thought I'd bring it to the experts!
edit: please excuse the crappy iphone pic... the room was poorly lit and I didn't have a high res camera with macro and flash available.

I say Peerless, but it doesn't look quite right. Almost like there's an extra layer between the "slider" and the actual switch parts.
-
hmm, I can't find any example pics of a peerless switch on google images. I'll search more :D

There oughta be one here.
Common keyboards that have them are Fujitsus with models starting in FKB47xx. This oughta give you something to go on if nobody posts a pic sooner.

hmm, apparently no support for boolean / wildcard searches on vBulletin, so searching for FKB47xx, FKB47, FKB47??, or FKB47** yields zero results.

That is a rubber dome stem, I have a bunch of Fujitsu keyboards with them. They are "usually" from older keyboards. I think all of the ones I have are PS2.
Some of those boards have curved plates so that keys are the same in different rows.

Looks like the switches in the Sun Type 5.

Yeargh, so there are rubber dome Peerless lookalike switches in addition to rubber dome Peerless lookalike keyboards?
Frustrating.
