Title: Recommendation on the "ideal" switch for me? (60g too light, 80g too heavy)
Post by: Alya on Mon, 07 May 2018, 04:45:04
I'm interested in BOX Navy but those seem to have a maximum force of around 77gf, which might be a tad too heavy for me given that I find Gateron Greens just slightly too heavy for my taste and MX Blacks are slightly too light for my tastes, I find MX Blacks too easy to bottom out and Gateron Green a bit too hard to actuate (I also have little experience with keyboard modding, so I know someone will recommend trying out switches for myself, but I'd need an easily modifiable plate-mount board so if one wants to point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.), I prefer tactile/clicky keys over linear keys but I don't really mind either way. I do have Zealios 67g in mind as those seem pretty "in-the-middle" for what I like, but I'd also like to hear other possible recommendations first. Much obliged.

I guess mx clears can meet your tastes, very nice switches :)
Zeals are on my list too, they seem perfectly "in the gap"

I would take a look at 67g Zealio. I myself migrated from Cherry MX Clear to Zealio 78g and I think I'll go one step lower to 67g as well. 78g is nice but still slightly tiring at times, especially when it's cold :P
