Title: Filco Brown Sticky "O"
Post by: kppanic on Thu, 15 April 2010, 07:21:21
Hi all;

I am loving my FKBN87M/EWEK.  It's a near perfect keyboard.  Except for one problem.  The "O" key seems to be a little defective.  It sticks a little, or when I press the key it does not feel smooth, it's a little rough before the actuation and on the way back up.  Feels like something is not "cut" smoothly.

I have tried pressing the key repeatedly over a span of 10 minutes, thinking that the switch needs to be broken in, but it still is the same.

How can I fix this problem?

Thanks!

Hmm looks like the bottom part of the plastic border is cracked.  That little "dip" right below the switch is mangled.  Lol how am I going to fix this....

Awesome, I will take your xacto knife advice.
