...One year later.

Coulda sworn it was created in 2008, but I'm so 2000-late as iMav's registration was in 2007.

I had no idea GH was so old! I joined back in 2013, it’s been a good five years. It’s the only forum I’ve really been able to stick with for some reason.

But I remember lurking back in 2010 for Model Ms (my Unicomp receipt shows January 2010, and I browsed gh threads on "best mechanical keyboard" before purchasing).

For some odd reason, even though I have stronger hobbies, this community is the one I come back to the most as well. I love book-collecting and retro games way more than keyboards, but I never became active in those communities, let alone at this level.

Here's to many more anniversaries!

I had no idea you registered then, I thought it was much earlier, such as 2012 or so :eek: :eek:

It blows me mind I've been here since I was 13, and I'm now 18! a ton of great people are on here and a lot of nostalgia for when I first joined, but I doubt I'll ever find a forum that I love coming to like Geekhack. <3

I remember that theme. Wasn't there a different one just before or after it? Still nice.

Lurked here off and on since around 2009-2010, when there were guides on dying keycaps (before keycap sets were so readily available).

I wondered how I remembered r00tw0rm seeing as I didn't join until 2013. Probably because of the format change but I dunno.

GH is one of the only active OG style forums. A ton sank when Photobucket died. You still get that feeling of a real "community" here. People's avatars and nicks match up. That kinda thing. A name to the"face" that you just don't get on Reddit for example
