Apparently Manyak's done some good. The ABS M1 is on sale for $20, and it looks like half of Overlock.net is chucking their G15s and buying it instead. I'm even considering picking one up, looks like a good price for a fake black Alps board.

For $20, it's not bad. That said, it's not all that great, either. Just MO, though.

I describe it as a middlin' mechanical keyboard. At $50 it's only worth picking up if you want a NIB mechanical keyboard without shelling out for a Das, and even then it gets good competition from iOne and Adesso. But for $20? For these guys this is the best starting place for mechanical keyboards, and with any luck some of them will like it enough to get better boards and increase demand and drive prices down. Hell, if Manyak and I start praising the Model M enough we might even drive up sales of Unicomp boards and delay their inevitable bankruptcy by a month or two.

Outrageous! $20 for a real keyboard? All the riff-raff will be joining us.
Price seems to have gone up to $30 now. :-/

I say we should all start buying Logitech G15s for trolling purposes. I'm sure the warranty is great too.

I just posted a link to welly's transposition issue thread on OCN. (pats himself on his trollish head). By the time they get through that 140 post thread the deal will be dead ;)
It's still a great deal.
