Looks great! How is the pcb programmed? Qmk would be fantastic:)
I hope there'll be a version without these ugly led windowI for one like the led window, you don't see it too often in custom designs.

What advantage do PCB-mounted keyboards have over plate-mounted ones? Besides switch-top opening.
I hope there'll be a version without these ugly led windowactually, from this picture, the LED window looks to be optional.
Looks great! How large is this? Simular to a realforce? The width is just like the width of G80-3XXX and a bit wider than Realforce 30g.
how much would this roughly weigh? slightly worried about the import duty I'd have to payabout 4-4.5 kilogram. I am not quite sure about lowering the price of customs declaration. I will check that.
What advantage do PCB-mounted keyboards have over plate-mounted ones? Besides switch-top opening.PCB-mounted is more comfortable for typing using linear MX switches, the good examples are G80-3494 and G80-1869. Although that , all the likes are very subjective .Assembling with PCB mounted or Plate mounted are depending on yourself. However, PCB mounted offer a choice for enthusiasts.

That price really hurts when r1 was 2499RMB in June 2017, which works out to between 360 and 370. What changes were made that justify the $100/$150 increase in price?

I explain the discussion between us into English.
1, The designer give the exact price is 2699 RMB, not the wrong 2800, 200RMB higher than R1 J80
2, The material for this JER-A06 has upgraded from 6061 aluminum to 6063 aluminum.
3,The designer let EVE Lab do the CNC and anodizing. EVE Lab has sophisticated expertise in doing this and they have OEM lots of custom keyboards such as Moon ,Mira, Meteor and so on. The better , the cost is higher.
4, The designer has collaborated with EVE Lab to improve and polish the details of top and bottom housing based on R1.
B-seriesNot familiar with B-series? Can you share some information about how I would go about programming the keymap on this? Is there a GUI?

Also how does the pcb mount to the top casing? Clips? Screws?

I just built a J80 last night. The PCB mounts to the top of the case with M2(?) screws, kinda like a top mount plateShow Image(https://i.imgur.com/EKzcE4f.jpg)
