This a custom keyboard of PCB mounted. Cherry Original Keyboard is famous for soft and comfortable type-feel when typing to bottom of PCB-mounted keyboard. Inspired by the unique type-feel, the OTD custom keyboard emerged. Subsequently, many custom keyboard emerged with more functions, more creativeness, more improvement. More and more enthusiasts come into for custom keyboards. Due to design for top housing and bottom housing, CNC has to make compromise between configuration and type-feel.
By designer
Round 1 of 80% has been launched last year. This round designer changes the name from J80 to JER-A06.
I want to design a metal custom keyboard with a type-feel just like OG cherry keyboard. A custom keyboard is 80% PCB-mounted but with pretty typing experience.

Specifications:
1, PCB-amounted, for original and comfortable type-feel without compromise
2,PCB is fixed to inside of top housing, suspended in middle to avoid contacting with metal bottom housing, which offer more resilience when typing.
Configuration:
1, Wide frame, round corner , slope angle ,all the details of OG cherry keyboards are all in JER-A06.
2, Layout: WKL and WK in 80%
3, Colors:
Top: Black, Gray, White(microarc oxidation).
Bottom: Black, Gray, White(microarc oxidation)
4, Led sticker: two ways for assembling
5, CNC and anodizing will be done by EVE, who have done CNC for Moon, MIRA, zero, Atom, Meteor, Kira and so on.
6, Materials:6063 Aluminum
7, USB interface and integrated to PCB
Estimate GB time: In a week or so.

What advantage do PCB-mounted keyboards have over plate-mounted ones? Besides switch-top opening.
From what I've gathered, it's a more natural key-feel that responds a bit more to your keypresses by flexing, over a stiffer supporting plate material such as aluminum, brass, and even polycarbonate. OP's saying this is reminiscent of older mech designs in plastic housings.

Although that , all the likes are very subjective .Assembling with PCB mounted or Plate mounted are depending on yourself. However, PCB mounted offer a choice for enthusiasts.

Yes, actually, this round is J80 round 2 and changed name from J80 R2 to JER, this have improved a lot based on J80 Round1

And the pad is just like G80-3700 to go with JER-A06 .The photo is just render not real ones.
The photos for 80% are real assembled J80. The designer and EVE have collaborated to make many improvement on details of top and bottom housing based on J80.

Thanks for the reply! Glad to see you guys are so transparent with the pricing.
So if I may summarise, the price is 2700rmb, we get better alu than r1, eve’s top notch cnc and anode (speaking from experience as I own a Moon and felt up a Mira in person), and improvements which no doubt increase the complexity and therefore price of the cnc process itself.
I don’t feel as bad about the price but I will have to rethink my purchase decision (who am I kidding, I’m still getting this)

B series PCB includes BFACE,B87,MPAD,BPAD. This JER-A06's PCB is Bface. The firmware is bootmapper.

Cheers fam! I saw the screwholes, but wasn't sure if the PCB was shapped to have nubbins that went into those little indents, or if they would just use larger flat head screws that would hold the pcb in place without actually screwing through. I like this way a lot more.
