Hi,
I have a question for IBM keyboards experts. I laid my hands on a supposedly new Model F XT. I compared it with a used XT I already had and one detail surprised me (to say the least): as you know, XTs are (also) famous for their stiff space bar. But this keyboard I am talking about has a comparatively very "light" space bar, just a tad bit heavier than a Model M one.
So my question is: has there been such thing as a Model F XT produced with a lighter space bar, or is my "new" XT is a just a perfectly refurbished, modded, keyboard ?
