I'm over here looking on Novelkeys, just burning time when I see something that peaks my interest... Sitting a foot or so away from my face on my screen is probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen... The Kailh Low Profile Jades.
Personally, I think that they sound amazing. I just wanted to know what owners of this switch think of it before I go and build another keyboard.

My main thoughts about Kailh low profile switches is that man it's hard to do a build because of everything else. Buying the switches is easy (Novelkeys sells them), the problem is PCBs/plates/cases/keycaps/stabs/etc.
I would like to build a low profile board myself but without milling my own plates and handwiring I can't find anything I would actually want to build...

Yeah, the keycap selection is really limited with these.

Yeah, I can't seem to find the proper size PCBs, stabs, or cases to fit it. I can handwire the board, it'll just be tedious as hell.
