Check it (http://www.engadget.com/2010/04/21/mousepad-roundup-razer-steelseries-saitek-and-kensington-batt/) if you're interested.

This one's a win even if it isn't the best performing:

Ripster, I have to ask - where did you get that eye-bee-M mousepad?
-
They were on eBay recently, altough I think the guy is all sold out now.
-
Don't forget to get a carpal tunnel glove (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=carpal%20tunnel%20glove) to minimize friction between your skin and your desk or mouse pad for that extra smooth pro gaming experience.

Wow, he has that big-ass mat and still needs to keep lifting the mouse (judging by how often his hand movement is NOT matched by screen movement.) Low sensitivity players are a strange bunch.

Surprisingly this guy uses double the amount at 100cm/360 at around half the video, over mew's 55cm/360; and he doesn't lift it as much.

W:ET might be pretty fast and has a lot of movement but it's no Q3?
Play-Style is also a factor, unfortunately you can't really see what's going on on the screen in the BossHK vid.
When it comes to mousepads, trust your cat.
Reminds me that I wanted to buy some new clothpads.

As usual Tom's hardware sucks. Just a bunch of filler and stuff I could find out from reading the box put on 21 pages.
