Damn, there goes my ethical hacking plug  there was no transparency about this decision

My favorite part of DEALS was that time I clicked on a GB link and it somehow took me to a shopping cart at a Theme park in Rome with 3 family tickets. Something to do with link translation.

I clicked the >>>DEALS<<< button a few times out of curiosity, but what is the big deal about it? I seem to remember reading a thread a while back, but I can't remember why it bothered everyone.

It didn't bother everyone, just a few really insular people who thought that the website they were using was free and they should never be asked to help pay for running costs either directly through donations or indirectly through adverts or referral links.

What bothered me was that there were never any real deals there. And I checked a few times to try to give support...

What bothered me was the appearance that most GBs ran without any kickback to iMav. I had every intention of donating at least 25% (a bit extreme but all I want is a nice keyboard and a keyset) of my earnings for Windsor once I figured out the damn glyphs. I suppose there are plenty of makers that kickbacked some change to iMav over the years but damn, if there was even a 5% fee in place for successful GBs I don't think there would have been an issue.

I only remember looking at it when it was added, not understanding what it was, and never clicking it again.
