Looks cool, like phone buttons on early tone dial phones, 2 sets of arrow keys, digitizer with stylus.

Hmm. Very strange. You go first. Looks like the trackpad is placed for use with the side of the thumb.

Its not a track pad. It's a tablet sensor for a pen I'm pretty sure.

A little Googling shows that to be a TK1 TRON-compliant keyboard from Personal Media Corporation of Japan, from 1990. See pp 84-85 (http://"http://www.wtec.org/loyola/pdf/hci.pdf)  Seems to have been a kanji keyboard for those with disabilities.
