Hi, new mechanical keyboard user here. I had access to an IBM Model M back at school (I'm 44, so I've already tried many computers) and really missed the mechanical keyboard feeling. Just got a cheap Chinese mechanical keyboard off Amazon to see if I liked it, and I'm already loving it. Now I find it ugly when I have to type on a membrane keyboard at work  :))

Sounds like it's time to hack that wallet (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=67980.0) and get a mechanical keyboard for use at work...or better yet get your company to issue you one in the name of ergonomics. ;)
