Title: Aircraft carrier parts on a IBM model M
Post by: thealeinman on Thu, 02 August 2018, 10:30:25
I kept hearing people call the 122 key the carrier model, so not sure if this is original or not but I took some spare parts off a aircraft carrier I was stationed on to redo my caps lock and num lock.  The switch is just extra for running a script.(http://)  Curious what other things people are using instead of just basic LED's.

Ha! That's pretty good. I hope they won't need those indicator lights and switch during some future conflict. Just kidding.

Even the little lamp covers like these have to be water tight and these have gaskets that dry rotted luckily my boss said to toss them.  So I did what any good tinkerer does and tossed them right into my pocket.  Couldnt just do a basic LED but couldnt find many custom options that would work off 5v.
